| Steven Badelt is a seasoned expert in product development, engineering management, business development, and systems engineering. He has over 19 years of experience in the design and launch of medical devices, including implantables, externally-worn systems, and installed devices (e.g. MRI).Steve is a successful entrepreneur in the medical device industry in Southern California, one of our target audiences, as well as a dynamic past speaker at our chapter presentations. |
| Nathalie Gosset has served as an IEEE and EMBS volunteer in a wide variety of geographical and technical society positions, including as past chair of our Chapter and Section, as well as a member of the EMB Society Administrative Committee, where she was received the Lifetime Career Award for her contributions to the Society. She created 50 EMBS chapters in different countries. Her network of contacts in the biomedical industry is large and has been helpful in lining up great speakers for the chapter. Nathalie is the Sr. Director, Marketing and Technology Innovation Evaluation at the Alfred Mann Institute for Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California. The Alfred Mann Institute is a not for profit acceleration center for the commercialization of biomedical inventions. Her role is to evaluate technologies and identify the ones with greatest market potential.

| Craig Reinhart is Associate Professor of Bioengineering/Physics and Computer Science at California Lutheran University, and consultant to Red Digital Cinema. Craig has been the champion for all IEEE activities on CLU campus, ensuring that we remain invited to run our events on campus. Craig is the force behind having access to the facilities free of charge. Craig defends the chapter’s value to the CLU students each year. Thank you Craig. Craig inspires us all to be our most creative, particularly when working with the staff at CLU. He has great contacts in "The Industry," and reminds us that life is too short to not have fun! |
| Vineet Sarin is President of Kinamed, Inc. of Camarillo, a successful medical device company that designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes implants & instruments for use in orthopaedic surgery and neurosurgery. He is responsible for managing the operations of the company, and has worked in the medical device industry since 2000, has authored over 50 scientific papers & abstracts, and holds several US & International patents. In addition to being a popular speaker at Chapter events, Vineet is passionate about career development for area engineers and students.

| Abby Corrin Parks has been an active member of Buenaventura EMBS for years, first starting as student volunteer while an undergraduate Bioengineering student at California Lutheran University. Abby has held most of the executive officer positions of the Chapter, and has served in a global position with EMBS as GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) representative for the EMBS Administrative Committee. Abby was awarded her PhD from UCLA this year, and is an adjunct faculty member at CLU.
